How fitting, given the current state of the world, that we should open our new theatre season with Samuel Beckett’s world-famous play ‘Endgame’, courtesy of the much-vaunted adaptation by the Deutsches Theater Berlin. Directed by Jan Bosse, stars of stage and screen Wolfram Koch and Ulrich Matthes transform Beckett’s celebrated modern classic into a contemporary comedy about the end of days.
